AngloINFO Rome is Italy's first AngloINFO. It serves the region of Lazio, also known as Latium, which includes the five provinces of Rome, Viterbo, Rieti, Latina and Frosinone. The region is rightly famous for its history, culture, art, archaeology and architecture with the beautiful city of Rome as its regional capital. Other areas of interest and beauty in the Lazio region include Italy’s largest lake - Lago de Bolsena and the summer residence of the Pope at Castel Gandolfo.
Modern Rome remains influential today as the capital of Italy and is economically the strongest Italian city, and home to a growing number of international organisations.
Acting Manager of AngloINFO Rome is Fiona Aris. Fiona worked for many years in magazine publishing before moving abroad to live in Norway, Greece and Italy. On her return to the UK she worked in media recruitment and in business teaching before joining AngloINFO as Business Development Director. She has two teenage sons, James (18) and Nick (16) and spends much of her spare time trying to persuade them to get up and do some work or transporting them to and from rugby matches!
