AngloINFO Provence, launched July 2005,
serves the French départements of the Var (83),
Vaucluse (84), Bouches du Rhone (13) and the Haute Alpes de
Provence. (04).
AngloINFO Provence is managed by Maria McLean who is also
General Manager of AngloINFO Riviera. Maria was most recently
Director of Sales for Thistle Hotels in London and her career
in sales and marketing spans major hotel groups, independent
conference hotels and even a provincial theatre.
Having owned a house in the Provençal village of Aups for
over 2 years, the time came for Maria, her husband Ray and
their young son Wills to make the long dreamed of move to
France. Their move in 2004 meant the purchase of a second
property, a maison du village to be run as a bed and
breakfast in the village. Now Ray and Maria's mother
organise the guests. Maria has been running
AngloINFO Riviera since early 2005, while launching AngloINFO Provence.
AngloINFO Provence has quickly attracted the attention of
the anglophone community in this region of France and Maria,
along with her team - Sales Executives John Holding and Jennifer Thomson, Accountant Sandra Shadrach and George Farmer,
the Editorial assistant - the site is rapidly growing into a
key information source in the region. Maria has welcomed Ray's
support in building the new site and seeking those English-speaking companies and individuals that make the AngloFILE
such a unique concept.
