AngloINFO Milan is the third AngloINFO region in Italy. It serves the Lombardy region including the twelve provinces of Milan, Bergamo, Brescia, Como, Cremona, Lecco, Lodi, Mantua, Monza and Brianza, Pavia, Sondrio and Varese. A vast inland area in Northern Italy neighbouring Switzerland, Lombardy offers a wide variety of options for residents and visitors. It encompasses the Po valley, the Italian Alps, the Italian Lakes and an array of natural parks. Lombardy is one of the most affluent areas in Europe and is home to a sixth of the Italian population.
The region is most famous for its cosmopolitan capital, Milan, which is recognised not only for its contribution to international fashion, style and design, but also as a thriving industrial, financial and commercial centre. Other areas of interest in Milan are the many museums, monuments and art galleries, including the Duomo, the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie which houses Leonardo Da Vinci's The Last Supper and La Scala opera house.
Acting Manager of AngloINFO Milan is Fiona Aris. Fiona worked for many years in magazine publishing before moving abroad to live in Norway, Greece and Italy. On her return to the UK she worked in media recruitment and in business teaching before joining AngloINFO as Business Development Director. She has two teenage sons, James and Nick and spends much of her spare time trying to persuade them to get up and do some work or transporting them to and from rugby matches!
AngloINFO Milan provides those living in the Lombardy area - or planning a move there from elsewhere - all the features and benefits to which AngloINFO's users around the world are accustomed.
