Madrid is an energetic city with a proud history as the centre of the great Spanish Empire. Since the death of Franco and the birth of modern Spain, the Madrileños have created an international city renowned as much for its business and technological centre as for its vivacious nightlife and vibrant culture.
Madrid is home to the official residence of the popular Spanish royal family and also to the Museo del Prado of worldwide renown, the Museo Reina Sofia which houses Picasso's Guernica, and arguably the most successful soccer club in the world, Real Madrid.
Acting Manager of AngloINFO Madrid is Fiona Aris. Fiona worked for many years in magazine publishing before moving abroad to live in Norway, Greece and Italy. On her return to the UK she worked in media recruitment and in business teaching before joining AngloINFO as Business Development Director. She has two teenage sons, James and Nick and spends much of her spare time trying to persuade them to get up and do some work or transporting them to and from rugby matches!
AngloINFO is now firmly established in Spain and provides those living in the Madrid area - or planning a move there from elsewhere - all the features and benefits to which AngloINFO's users around the world are accustomed.
