The Languedoc-Roussillon is the fastest growing region in France, comprising the departments of Gard 30, Herault 34, Lozere 48, Aude 11, Pyrenees Orientales 66 and covering the Mediterranean coastline from Provence to Spain.
A region of contrasts, Languedoc-Roussillon includes the Roman town of Nimes, intellectual Montpellier, historical Carcassonne and traditional Perpignan and provides 200 kms of large and sandy beaches as well as skiing resorts and beautiful countryside.
AngloINFO Languedoc-Roussillon launched in February 2006 with franchisee Caroline Tixier taking over on 1st January 2007.
Originally from Paris, Caroline left after graduating in 1992, to spend three years working in the department store business in Dubai. After a quick stay in Zurich, she worked in Paris for the next three years for the world’s largest bottled water company handling exports to the Asia/Pacific region. This was followed by four years in the IT industry based in Sophia-Antipolis.
Caroline has been been a regular user of AngloINFO Riviera for many years and knows how helpful the site can be. When she and her family decided to move to the Languedoc region it seemed an obvious decision to take AngloINFO with them.
Together with husband Bruno, they have two daughters, Maé (born 2005) and Lila (2002).
