Former colony of Britain until it returned to China in 1997, the Special Administrative Region (SAR) of Hong Kong is made up of a mainland peninsula and over 260 islands, covering just under 1,100 kilometres. Hong Kong has been a business and financial centre for many years, and has a huge expatriate community. Hong Kong Island is the heart of the region and home to the area's main business district - Central.
Hong Kong is renowned for its shopping and dining as well as for it's spectacular skylines and the panoramic views from Victoria Peak.
Acting Manager of AngloINFO Hong Kong is Fiona Aris. Fiona worked for many years in magazine publishing before moving abroad to live in Norway, Greece and Italy. On her return to the UK she worked in media recruitment and in business teaching before joining AngloINFO as Business Development Director. She has two teenage sons, James and Nick and spends much of her spare time trying to persuade them to get up and do some work or transporting them to and from rugby matches!
AngloINFO Hong Kong provides those living in the area - or planning a move there from elsewhere - all the features and benefits to which AngloINFO's users around the world are accustomed.
